Provincial Branches of the Iranology Foundation

Given the cultural richness and vast area of Iran, it is necessary to learn about the history, culture, and arts of this ancient country and introduce them to others through the collection and recording of some information which is, unfortunately, being forgotten. Acting upon the approval of the bylaw for the establishment of its branches in 1998, the Iranology Foundation has set up some provincial branches around the country in order to create some efficient centers for studying and conducting research, organize provincial and regional studies, and promote the public’s knowledge of Iranology. With reference to Article 3 of the Statute of the Foundation, the branches established are now active in 13 provincial centers, as follows:

  • East Azerbaijan
  • West Azerbaijan
